DJ/Producer/Songwriter
Frank Lamboy is no stranger to the electronic music. As a child, his talent for music was apparent when he started to playing classical piano at the age of 4. His early training as a pianist later developed into a deep passion for house music due to the highly influential New York City nightlife scene where Lamboy spent his teenage years.
This interest led him to pick up his first set of turntables and he was a natural, quickly landing gigs at some of New York top clubs, such as The Tunnel, 1018 and The Underground. His DJ exploits had already led him to record production where his early works were signed by House labels like Strictly Rhythm, Nervous Records, Progressive High and DigIt International. A bootleg remix of “How To Be A Millionaire” by ABC, caught the attention of BBC Radio One 1 DJ, Judge Jules, which got signed to DMC. This kind of international attention set Lamboy out to tour both the US and Europe alongside acts such as ATB, Spacekid and George Acosta.
Lamboy’s talent as a producer and songwriter has been trusted by more than the fair share of top notch artists such as Joi Cardwell, Michelle Weeks, Inaya Day and Crystal Waters, to name a few. His remix credentials are a whose who of industry pop artists such as Britney Spears, Gloria Estefan, Shakira, B2K, Rob Thomas, Cher, Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake, Selena Gomez and more.
